About Us
Married for 46 years and counting, Mike and Julie met while working at a grocery store, got married, and raised daughters Beth and Lauren in the Dallas area. Lauren remained close to her parents and is raising her daughter Addyson with them, while Beth left home to pursue her dream of working in the wine industry in the Texas Hill Country.
With retirement on the horizon, Mike and Julie purchased their future home in the Hill Country, and the family began envisioning ways to collaborate and create something they could enjoy together once they’re all in Fredericksburg. Given their shared love of people, wine, and all things Texas (especially the Cowboys and Port Aransas), the logical outcome is their family-owned and operated Vino Ventures. Mike, Julie, Beth, Lauren, and Addyson are excited to share outstanding Texas wines and hospitality with their tour guests.
