With over 440 wine producers, Texas is 5th in wine production in the US.
Texas has added over 380 new wineries since 2017, 89 of which opened after 2021.
In 2023, Texas surpassed Oregon in number of wineries, making us 3rd in the nation.
Over 2 million tourists visit Texas wineries each year.
And guess what? There’s no better place to see this growth in the Texas wine industry than in the Hill Country. As of June 2023, Fredericksburg and Gillespie Country are home to over 70 wineries, and Blanco County just down the road has its own rapidly expanding collection of wine establishments.
